Hillary Crowder joined the 59 News team in August 2006 as a reporter and took over the morning anchor desk in August 2009.
Hillary comes to us from Chester, Va., and is a graduate of Emory & Henry College.
Before she joined us, Hillary worked for NBC affiliate, WCYB-TV in Bristol, VA/TN as a videographer and off-camera reporter.She also interned as a production assistant at WWBT, the NBC affiliate, in Richmond, VA.
She was actively involved in campus media at E&H. She hosted a news and interview show, Emory Talks as well as acting as the news editor of the campus newspaper, The Whitetopper.
When Hillary is not reporting or working on the anchor desk, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and cat, Leila, and she admits she is addicted to reality TV.
