Firefighters can learn more about reacting to emergencies.
Story by Adam Baker
BEAVER -- Firefighters battled multiple blazes inside a burning structure this weekend, but this time it was all for training.
The state mobile training center made a stop at Beaver to help prepare local rescue workers.
With the push of a button, instructors can turn the trailer into an inferno. Everything inside, including the temperature, is controlled.
Firefighters have to navigate through the scenario and anticipate what could be around the next corner. It's to make sure they're prepared when things heat up.
The trailer has movable walls, a kitchen stove and a second story -- all to teach the firefighters how to quickly put out just about any type of fire.
The trailer is designed to help firefighters all over the state make the right decisions when a real life emergency comes. It travels across the Mountain State, letting rescuers battle the simulated blazes.
