Fatal Accident in Raleigh Co.

The accident happened Wednesday morning on Harper Road in Beckley.

BECKLEY- -- An Oak Hill man was killed in a crash on Harper Road.

The Raleigh County Sheriff's Department says a 38-year-old man was driving east on Harper Road near Eccles around 10:30 this morning, when he veered off the road. His car went over an embankment and crashed into a tree.

Police say the man died at the scene.

He was the only person in the car.

His name has not been released pending notification of family.
