Shooting Victim Flown to Charleston

Early morning shooting in McDowell County.

BRADSHAW-- -- Deputies in McDowell County are investigating an early morning shooting Friday.

Emergency Services released that one person was shot in the Bradshaw area of the county.

According to McDowell Co. Sheriff's Dept., Chief Deputy Mark Shelton, the victim was flown to Charleston for treatment.

The call was received around 1:30 a.m. and not many other details are being released.

Shelton said they are not releasing the victim's name or details on an arrest or suspect at this time.
