Tazewell couple picked up in McDowell County.

CARETTA-- -- Two North Tazewell people are in custody after a chase that ended in McDowell County.

26 year-old Shannon Muncy and 26 year-old Tosha McCoy are in jail.

McDowell County Sheriff's Dept. said the pair broke into a home on Dogwood Lane in the town of Tazewell.

The break-in was reported just after 7 a.m. Friday.

Authorities chased the couple into West Virginia.

The Tazewell County Sheriff's Dept. and McDowell County Sheriff's Dept. chased them for nearly 10 miles together before they ditched their car and ran.

They were arrested in Caretta a short time after that.

Both are facing a slew of felony charges in both states.
