The WVU men's basketball team talked about getting ready for next season at its banquet on Sunday.

MORGANTOWN -- The Big East conference was competitive this past season for the WVU men's basketball team.
The basketball team held its annual end of the year banquet on Sunday afternoon. WVU’s head coach Bob Huggins and his coaching staff honored their players at the Waterfront Place Hotel.
The Mountaineers finished with 23 and 12 record this season with a trip to the NCAA tournament in Minnesota..
The old gold and blue will be only losing two seniors Alex Ruoff and Josh Sowards.
The team will also have Devin Ebanks return for another season instead of putting his name in for the NBA draft. The Mountaineers say they have a promising future ahead especially playing in such a tough conference this year.
Da'Sean Butler earned this year's Most Vaulable Player Award; Butler averaged 17 points and 5 rebounds per game and set a new school record coring 43 points against Villanova at the coliseum.
Other award winners were Devin Ebanks for Most Improved Player, Cam Thoroughman for the Unsung Hero award, Kevin Jones for the Sixth Man award, Alex Ruoff named both the Best Defender and Team Man and freshman Darryl " Truck" Bryant as the Charge Leader.
