Early voting is underway for Sophia's general election, and a write in candidate's name was printed on the ballot.

Because this is not allowed, officials with the Secretary of State's office suggested election officials put a sticker over the name with instructions for a voter who wishes to write in a candidate's name.

Voting had already started before the stickers could be placed on the ballots, so after the election is completed, the Board of Canvasses will decide if ballots cast without stickers will count.
