MULLENS- -- Work continues to upgrade one of Southern West Virginia's State Parks.
Twin Falls State Park is in the midsts of a major face-lift.
The construction work is progressing on schedule according to the park's superintendent.
The work is nearly half-way complete.
The upgrades includes 27 new rooms to the lodge, a new conference room, an indoor pool, a new lobby, fitness center, and gift shop round out the improvements at Twin Falls.
While there is a lot of work underway right now, the construction has not forced the park to close.
"It's a little but of an inconvenience right now, you know, getting in and out of the building. We're still open. I'd like for people to know that. The lodge is open. The restarurant is open, and all of the parks facilities are still open and people are still using everything and having a good time." said Scott Durham, Twin Falls State Park Superintendent.
The work at Twin Falls got started last year.
The upgrades are expected to be complete by December.
