Wings Over West Virginia Event Set to Fly

Jackson County Aeromodelers will be inviting area RC pilots to join them at the Jackson County Airport to show off their remote control models and flying skills.

JACKSON COUNTY -- If you are interested in remote control airplanes or helicopters, the Jackson County Airport is the place to be this weekend. May 30 & 31st from 10:00 AM until the sun goes down, there will be RC planes and helicopter pilots showing their stuff. No charge to the public, but pilots must have AMA memberships to fly and there is a $10.00 for 1 day and $15.00 for two days landing fee.

Jackson County Airport is located on Rt 1 Box 84 Millwood WV. The airport has a 4000 foot paved runway. Real aircraft will be on display as well as RC aircraft. RV parking is limited and there is a tail gate swapmeet both days. For more info call 304-372-4904 or 304-273-8114
