SHADY SPRING- -- After months of dodging pot-holes, relief is in sight for drivers in Raleigh County.

Paving is underway along route 19 in Shady Spring.

Officials with the division of highways say crews will pave from Daniels to the route three intersection in Cool Ridge.

Business owners in the area say they are glad to see work underway, but the potholes and now paving have kept customers from stopping by.

The paving is expected to be completed by June 5th. In the meantime, DOH officials ask drivers to be patient.
