Greenbrier County deputies say Fowler was spotted in the Lewisburg Post Office around 1:30 this afternoon.

While he was being patted down, Fowler reportedly pushed the officer away and ran.

Deputies, state troopers and city officers from Lewisburg and Ronceverte chased him. He was located about 30 minutes later in yard on Jefferson Street.

One officer suffered minor injuries in the chase.

Fowler had been released from jail and placed on probation earlier this spring.
