Ronceverte -- At around 11:30 on Friday night, deputies were called out to a fight in Ronceverte. It all happened on Rockland Road. Deputies say 23-year-old Joshua Garner of Fairlea fired three rounds from a pistol after a fight broke out at a party. Garner reportedly tossed the gun when he saw deputies approaching. He is charged with wanton endangerment.

Just 15 minutes later, deputies were flagged down by a driver in Fairlea who told them another driver had pulled up beside their vehicle along Interstate 64 and shown a weapon. The suspect fled and the victim followed, in order to provide a vehicle description. Deputies were able to locate the vehicle, and arrested 30-year-old Adam Thomas of Meadow Creek. He is charged with brandishing a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of marijuana.

The, at midnight Saturday morning, deputies were called out to a home on Muddy Creek Mountain on report of a breaking and entering. Deputies say 21-year-old James Hall, 22-year-old Kevin Davis of Muddy Creek Mountain, and 22-year-old Travis Hinkle of Coffman Hill drove a vehicle through a locked gate and broke into the garage at the home. The trio stole power tools, a canoe and various other items. Hall, Davis and Hinkle are charged with breaking and entering. Deputies were able to recover some of the property, but say most was sold at a local flea market.
