One man was stabbed, another arrested.

ANAWALT -- State Police is investigating a stabbing in a bar parking lot in Anawalt.

It happened Tuesday night.

Troopers say 42-year-old Shannon Mitchem was stabbed several times. 35-year-old Kenneth Fowler was arrested in the attack. He's charged with malicious wounding, assault during the commission of a felony, obstructing an officer and brandishing.

According to investigators, the two men had argued inside the bar. Troopers say Fowler followed Mitchem outside and attacked him.

Fowler is being held in the Southern Regional Jail.

Mitchem is in stable condition at Welch Emergency Hospital.
