BLUEFIELD- -- More student housing is now available at Bluefield College in Tazewell County.
Construction on the East River Hall is complete.
A ribbon cutting ceremony gathered the school's administration, alumni and other community leaders Friday morning. The residence hall will house up to 100 students including married couples.
The dorm also has common space on each floor, giving the students room to socialize and study.
Students will begin moving into the facility Saturday.
Bluefield College president, Dr. David Olive says there are plans to build additional dormitories in the near future.
