Police say someone drove his truck into the building.

Story by Alicia Suka

GHENT- -- The Raleigh County Sheriff's Department investigates a breaking and entering at a local Subway restaurant.

The front window on the Subway in Ghent was shattered after a man allegedly drove his vehicle into the building.

This happened early Saturday morning, around 1:30 a.m.

The man reportedly backed his truck into the restaurant three times to gain entrance. Employees say it appears he was trying to get to the ATM inside.

Security alarms apparently spooked the man and he left the store with nothing.

He left the store in what appears to be an older model pick-up truck.
