HINTON- -- One southern West Virginia town will celebrate the rivers that run through it.

Hinton is where the Greenbrier and New Rivers come together.

This weekend, Hinton plays host to the Festival of Rivers.

This is a fairly new gathering, as it enters it's fourth year.

City leaders say events like these strengthen the ties that bind a community together.

The Festival of the Rivers will feature live music all weekend long. The headlining act tomorrow night is local favorite, Taylor Made.

There will be food vendors and even some demonstrations on how to make instruments.

The Festival will continue through Sunday.
