Deputies say Bradley Earl Legg, 24, of Mount Lookout, WV was traveling very fast along Route 60. Deputies and EMS personnel say when they arrived on the scene Legg had been thrown for his four-wheeler.

Investigators say Legg apparently ran off the roadway, went up an embankment before he struck a tree. He landed on Route 60 and suffered severe head injuries.

Legg was taken to Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, where he was pronounced dead at 11:47 PM.

The accident remains under investigation.
