LEWISBURG --  It's girl power in Greenbrier County this weekend.

The Lewisburg Business and Professional Women's Club is sponsoring it's 29th annual Arts and Crafts Fair in the West Virginia Building at the State Fairgrounds in Fairlea.

Organizers say proceeds go to scholarships for local women attending New River Community and Technical College.

"Our mission is to advocate for women through education. And there's so many women out there struggling and they don't have the money to become educated. They're newly divorced, single moms. There's just so many women that don't have a chance if it weren't for groups like ours," says Event Chair, Julie Shafer.

More than 100 vendors spent Friday showing off their wares.

They'll be back from 9 a.m to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Parking and admission are free.
