BLUEFIELD, VA -- Bluefield College is hosting its annual Homecoming this month.
Based on the theme, "Fresh Brewed, Just for You," new and old students alike are coming together to share a decades old tradition.
Highlighted events on the schedule include a Golden Graduate Society Induction Ceremony, an Arts and Crafts Festival, an Alumni Choir Reunion Concert and the induction of a new class into the school's Sports Hall of Fame.
"Current students have their activities. Alumni obviously have their activities. But we like to invite the community as well. And we like to push the fact that Homecoming at Bluefield College is a community oriented event," said Chris Shoemaker, the college's public relations director.
Hundreds are expected to share in Bluefield College's homecoming.
Alumni from as far back as the 30s are signed up to attend.
Events are scheduled to take place Friday, Oct. 23 and Saturday, Oct. 24.
