Nicholas County continues to pull drugs off the street.
Story by Kate Krivanek
SUMMERSVILLE -- Law enforcement officials believe that Operation Trick or Treat will clean up the streets for kids this Halloween.
Wednesday morning, members of the Nicholas County Sheriff's Department, Summersville Police Department, the West Virginia State Police, the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources, U.S. Marshal Service and the FBI executed 36 drug related warrants in Nicholas County. The arrest warrants stem from work done by the Central West Virginia Drug Task Force.
This bust, along with Operation Spring Cleaning, which happened in April, has netted 100 drug-related arrests in Nicholas County so far this year.
