The No.2 Madonna Blue Dons wrapped up a second consecutive unbeaten regular season with a 28-2 victory at previously unbeaten Clay-Battelle.

Madonna's other 10-0 seasons came in 2004 and 1987.

Blue Dons senior quarterback Max Nogay rushed 21 times for 184 yards and three scores. He also completed a 48-yard touchdown strike to Connor Arlia.

Senior running back Jimmy Deter had 55 yards on 11 carries.

The Blue Dons will most likely go into the post-season as the top seed in Class A.

In West Union, Bishop Donahue scored a 12-7 victory over Doddridge County and stayed alive in the playoff hunt.

Austin Coffield scored what proved to be the game-winning touchdown in the third quarter. Ryan Jones had a pair of interceptions, including one that sealed the victory as time expired. The Bishops (7-3) finished the season by winning six of their last seven games.
