PINEVILLE --  On Nov. 7, Kenneth Ray Hager surrendered to authorities after escaping from the state's only maximum security prison.

But, the second escapee is still on the loose.

William Oakley Cline, 25, of Pineville escaped from the Slayton Work Camp on Oct. 25. Now more than three weeks later, Cline is still on the run.

Cline was in prison at the Mount Olive Correctional Complex after being convicted of daytime burglary charges.

Correctional officers, deputies and state troopers have spent several days searching for Cline on land and from the sky.

Troopers said they believe he may be in Wyoming County and that even though Cline is a non-violent offender, he should be considered dangerous.

Anyone with information on Cline's whereabouts should contact State Police. Or you can call Crimestoppers at 255-STOP.
