Fayette County Man Arrested on Malicious Wounding Charges

The charges stem from a fight between two men near Ansted.

ANSTED- -- Fayette County sheriff's deputies arrested an Ansted man on charges of malicous wounding.

Mark Allen Kinser, 31 of Ansted was charged after police said he got into a fight with Marvin Rogers, 53, on Tuesday morning.

The fight happened in the Logtown Hollow area of Ansted.

Rogers claimed Kinser had hit him in the head with a metal shovel following an argument between the two.

Kinser has been remanded to the Southern Regional Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond. The incident remains under investigation by the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.

Rogers' condition is unknown at this time.
