Henry Clay Jenkins faces new charges of domestic battery.
OAK HILL- -- A Fayette County man facing murder charges in the death of his son is arrested on other charges.
Henry Clay Jenkins, 35, was arrested on Monday on a charge of domestic battery.
Sheriff's deputies said they responded to a 911 call to a home on Summerlee Road in Oak Hill, Monday afternoon.
Deputies said Jenkins had physically assaulted his stepfather, Bassel Flint.
Jenkins was on bond awaiting trial on a charge of murder in connection with the November 2008 death of his son, a 14-year-old cystic fibrosis patient.
Jenkins is also under indictment and awaiting trial for the unrelated offenses of possession of a stolen vehicle and driving while his license was revoked due to DUI.
Jenkins will remain in the Southern Regional Jail until his bond status can be considered by the Circuit Court of Fayette County following this arrest.
