City officers are conducting a warrant sweep.

BECKLEY -- Beckley City detectives have warrants for 20 people. Two were arrested Wednesday morning.

Officers said Sam Persinger was arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit a felony.

He is free after posting bond.

John Burnett was arrested on charges of delivery of cocaine and conspiracy.

Detectives said some of the drug warrants they are pursuing go back to 2007.
