WVU Wins 76 Classic Tournament 84-66

Da’ Sean Butler named tournament MVP as the Mountaineers beat the Portland Pilots on Sunday night.

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- West Virginia was down early in the first half but the Mountaineers quickly turned the game around before halftime.

Da’Sean Butler was benched with two early fouls but when he got back in the game; the senior went to work. Butler tied a career- high 26 points on the night.

WVU’s Kevin Jones added 17 points and Devin Ebanks chipped in 14 points.

The Mountaineers stay undefeated on the season winning the 76 Classic Tournament against the Portland Pilots.

West Virginia is scheduled to play an exhibition game against the University of Charleston Dec. 3 in Morgantown.
