West Liberty was paced by Tori Hansen with 17 points. Meghan Wiseman and Laura Malernee added 16 and 15 points respectively.

The Hilltoppers led by a point at the half, but Fairmont State came out strong in the second half to win the game.

The win moved FSU to 4-1 overall and 3-0 in the WVIAC. West Liberty dropped to 2-4 overall and 0-3 in the league.

The WLC men's team got some revenge in the second game, defeating Fairmont State 103-100.

West Liberty had six players in double figures, led by Scott Mirich's 20 points.

Fairmont State's Steve Custis led all scorers with 24 points, while FSU's Dan Bruner contributed 21 points, hitting three 3-pointers.
