OAK HILL -- Cpl. Chris Young was shot just after 4 a.m. March 18 along Route 61 in Oak Hill. Now, the search for the gunman continues.

The best lead investigators have right now is some video of the suspect's vehicle driving erratically in Kanawha County.

That video was captured by a school bus and is being enhanced now at the state police crime lab to get a better description of the vehicle.

Officers are also executed a search warrant at a home in Oak Hill.

"We have received a lot of credible information that the suspect may have been in that residence very recently and where that residence is the suspect would have had to go down Round Hill road to get to West Virginia Route 61," said Lt. Jim Sizemore.

Investigators are following up on a lead suggesting the suspect may have been wanted in connection with a murder in Kanawha County.

They also said the suspect may have been trafficking drugs from Ohio.
