OAK HILL -- Members The West Virginia State Police and the West Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force are sponsoring a special series of presentations by a victim of internet crimes.
When Alicia Kozakiewicz was 13-years-old she was lured by an Internet predator, kidnapped, and for four days she was chained, raped and tortured in a Virginia townhouse.
Now in her 20s, Kozakiewicz is an activist against internet crimes, has spoken before Congress, to Oprah and is the subject of an award-winning documentary.
This week, Kozakiewicz will speak to parents and children in the area.
Wednesday she will speak to parents and adults at Oak Hill High School.
the event will start at 6 p.m.
Then, May 6, she will speak with students at Oak Hill High School and Collins Middle School.
